永恆的平安夜

不管是不是聖誕，只要在冷冽的靜夜中，騎著機車經過無人的街道，總是不自覺的要哼起Bing Crosby的聖誕歌 God rest ye merry, gentlemen；
想起十幾年前，為了一張莫名的畢業証書，而在多風的新竹滯留 ---
在聖誕節前的夜晚，從打工的餐廳滿身油煙味走回小閣樓的住所，才發現今晚是平安夜。
看著街上熙攘的人們，總覺得該為自己在這一夜做些什麼，於是在途中買了這捲錄音帶，就是Bing的這捲白色聖誕。

為什麼Bing這麼低沈的歌聲， 卻成為歡樂聖誕不可或缺的經典歌曲呢？
莫非歡樂，正是一種悽涼後所激發出的情緒；
在那麼一個獨自生活的時候，只有一台從學弟手上接收的二手隨身聽的我，用了身上僅有的零錢買了那捲卡帶，心裡卻一點都不擔心明天要怎麼吃飯，只想趕緊修完學分，脫離家裡的負擔，好去建築自己夢想的生活。

而十幾年後， 生活無慮，穿著手工訂製西裝的我，走進忠孝東路的淘兒，用JCB的金卡想再找同樣一張專輯的聖誕CD，
封面上早已作古的Bing笑容依舊，低沉歌聲依舊，
台北夜的寒風依舊， 我的心情呢？ 一定大大不同了吧？
不知是該慶幸或是悲哀，
我的心情竟跟幾十年前的那個年輕人一樣，也跟Bing Crosby的歌聲一樣，
完全依舊，依舊在找著自己不知所措、夢想中的生活。
這樣的我，在夜晚唱著Bing的歌，
竟微微的笑的了起來...
