永恆的平安夜

不管是不是聖誕,只要在冷冽的靜夜中,騎著機車經過無人的街道,總是不自覺的要哼起Bing Crosby的聖誕歌 God rest ye merry, gentlemen;
想起十幾年前,為了一張莫名的畢業証書,而在多風的新竹滯留 ---
在聖誕節前的夜晚,從打工的餐廳滿身油煙味走回小閣樓的住所,才發現今晚是平安夜。
看著街上熙攘的人們,總覺得該為自己在這一夜做些什麼,於是在途中買了這捲錄音帶,就是Bing的這捲白色聖誕。

為什麼Bing這麼低沈的歌聲, 卻成為歡樂聖誕不可或缺的經典歌曲呢?
莫非歡樂,正是一種悽涼後所激發出的情緒;
在那麼一個獨自生活的時候,只有一台從學弟手上接收的二手隨身聽的我,用了身上僅有的零錢買了那捲卡帶,心裡卻一點都不擔心明天要怎麼吃飯,只想趕緊修完學分,脫離家裡的負擔,好去建築自己夢想的生活。

而十幾年後, 生活無慮,穿著手工訂製西裝的我,走進忠孝東路的淘兒,用JCB的金卡想再找同樣一張專輯的聖誕CD,
封面上早已作古的Bing笑容依舊,低沉歌聲依舊,
台北夜的寒風依舊, 我的心情呢? 一定大大不同了吧?
不知是該慶幸或是悲哀,
我的心情竟跟幾十年前的那個年輕人一樣,也跟Bing Crosby的歌聲一樣,
完全依舊,依舊在找著自己不知所措、夢想中的生活。
這樣的我,在夜晚唱著Bing的歌,
竟微微的笑的了起來...
